THE WATSON'S GO TO BIRMINGHAM

Based on the book by Christopher Paul Curtis, The Watsons Go To Birmingham follows the Watson Family on a road trip to Birmingham, Alabama in the summer of 1963. Narrated by 12-year-old Kenny, the Watsons discover that life in Birmingham is very different – and not necessarily for the better. During that historic summer, they get caught in the maelstrom of events of the emerging Civil Rights Movement that will forever change their lives and their country.
